Freelander GS
2002
Hardtop Convertible
Excellent Condition

If you're looking for a car for work, a bit of weekend adventure and a whole lot of fun - here it is!

This is a superb Freelander. It looks good, feels agile, goes well, supremely capable off road, nicely finished and well equipped. You can understand why they have become the ultimate in flexible motoring - toughness, durability, comfort and elegant style all wrapped into one car. Not only that but you have an ideal workhorse due to its toughness; a perfect family car with plenty of space; a convertible for those lovely sunny days; a great tourer due to it being so incredibly comfortable - it is the most comfortable vehicle I have ever driven - AND a great toy - these babies can go most places their big brother the Defender can go and does it in style! (Not that we have tried, always thought it was too nice to get it dirty!)

The engine is in superb condition. It is a fabulous car to drive being at home both around town and on the motorway.

At the wheel of this vehicle you feel a little set apart - and not only because of the high driving position, and the fact that all your friends are envious! The detail touches help. The way the window at the rear goes down so you can load your shopping without having to open the back door - or of course give your dogs plenty of air if you have any. All of the useful storage areas and flat surfaces that seem to exist for everything you could possibly want to carry. The double sunroof so driver and passenger can open and close them separately. I could go on and on.

On that beautiful sunny day when you have the top off and your music playing, what better than the six CD changer - plenty of music without having to keep on changing the disc! Then there is the added security of the CD changer being hidden under the passenger seat, leaving the stereo to look like a cassette radio that would not be worth breaking a window to steal!

The rear seats fold down better than anything I've come across, allowing for a truly open experience when there is just two of you with the top off, or tonnes of luggage space if you have bulky items to transport.

This Freelander has the safety and purpose of a 4x4 with the comfort of a limo. It is solid on the road and is very responsive without being too touchy. It drives smooth and true and takes corners in a way that 4x4's have no right to!

What is really so great about this Freelander is that it is a real head turner, a fantastic looking vehicle that looks far more expensive than it actually is - both on the inside and the outside.

This Freelander has a 1.8 litre engine, which means that it has good fuel economy for the prestige of the vehicle and avoids the high taxation classes that come with the heavy gas guzzling 4x4s.

The Freelander has tax until the end of December and 10 months MOT until July 21st 2009.
