Brand new MOT. 1996 manual with silver paintwork and full service history. Three previous owners. No mods, very original.

Current mileage is 106500 which can be verified via the service history. I have owned the car for three years and every single receipt, tax disc, mot etc. has been filed during that time.

The front brakes were overhauled less than 4,000 miles ago when Black Diamond drilled and grooved discs were installed along with matching Black Diamond pads. The rear pads were changed a less than 1,000 miles ago.

The cam belt was changed 15,000 miles ago, as was the radiator and the clutch. Run on fully synthetic lubes and always runs for at least 60 secs after stopping to allow turbo to cool.

HPI clear when I brought her and I paid with cash.

Cobra cat 2 immobiliser, dealer fitted tow bar which is fully wired, Recaro interior and Speedline alloys with locking wheel nuts.

Condition:
- Mechanicals: excellent
- Interior: excellent except small tear in near side back door lining
- Bodywork: overall very good condition for age. Bodywork niggles - front number plate is cracked, the alloys could be described as average condition, there is a chip in the windscreen (it has passed three MOT’s with it though), the usual handful of stone chips are visible on the front of the car, both rear doors have small 1/2p size dentsand there is a small amount of bubbling on the windscreen pillar on the near side. The problems I have mentioned would take very little to put right as they are all superficial; I have a couple of other Classics which take up my time otherwise I would have sorted them out a long time ago!

Tax is £185 per year and will not be affected by the planned rule changes to be implemented in 2009/10. The car is currently taxed but the tax disc is not included in the sale. For convenience, if you wish to buy the tax disc at cost I am happy to do this; it expires in July 2009 so cost price (£15.40 per month)

Very original, practical and genuine UK example (so affordable insurance!); selling as moving overseas.
