Current mileage is 106500 which can be verified via the service history. Since she has been in my care, every single receipt, tax disc, mot etc. has been filed.

The front brakes were overhauled less than 4,000 miles ago when Black Diamond drilled and grooved discs were installed along with matching Black Diamond pads. The rear pads were changed a less than 1,000 miles ago.

The cam belt was changed 15,000 miles ago, as was the radiator and the clutch. She is run on fully synthetic lubes and always runs for at least 60 secs when arriving at a destination to allow time for the Turbo to cool.

She was HPI clear when I brought her and I paid with cash.

She has a Cobra cat 2 immobiliser, dealer fitted tow bar which is fully wired and Speedline alloys with locking wheel nuts.

Overall she is in a very good condition for her age and mechanically has proved to demonstrate the reliability that you come to expect from Subaru. Naturally, for an twelve year old car there are now a few small niggles; the front number plate is cracked, the alloys could be described as average condition, there is a chip in the windscreen (it has passed two MOT’s with it though), the usual handful of stone chips are visible on the front of the car, both rear doors have small 1/2p size dents, there is a small amount of bubbling on the windscreen pillar on the near side and a tear in the near side back door lining. There is nothing wrong with the engine, the turbo pulls very well, the brakes work terrifically and the interior shows little sign of wear even on the drivers side bolster which is in excellent condition. The problems I have mentioned would take very little to put right as they are all superficial; I have a couple of other Classics which take up my time otherwise I would have sorted them out a long time ago!

In conclusion, this is an honest car looking for a good home at a fair price. She is a very original and genuine UK example (so affordable insurance!); the performance is excellent for what, at the end of the day is a very capable load carrier and, having spent all day just trying to keep the classic cars on the road, you get in this and you cant help but to wonder why do you bother!
