4 former keepers, but since it's been in my care this car has been looked after by Automedon in Blackpool - a company manned by ex-TVR employees (who believe they worked on this particular car on the production line).

Full service history - by TVR and TVR specialists. Last service was big 12k service at 40,000 miles by Automedon and the car was given a thorough health check.

This Chimaera has the better Malaysian body and chassis - some of the production was undertaken in Malaysia - the craftsmanship was superior, panel fit and shut lines are better than 100% British built cars - I've been reliably informed this by Dave and Colin at Automedon, both ex-TVR foremen.

Recent gearbox rebuild by Automedon at same time as 12k service.

Both front and rear brake pads replaced - rears at same time as service.

New Toyo Proxes on rear - less than 1000 miles since fitted. Plenty of miles left on the front tyres - also Toyo Proxes.

MOT and tax till July 2009 - sailed through last MOT two months ago.

Great big folder of receipts from former owners for all work and servicing undertaken.

Two keys and fobs.

Engine running brilliantly, no lumpiness or hunting at tickover and pulls like a train throughout the rev range. Have kept it topped up with Q8 F1 racing oil as specified by Automedon - with weekly checks on both oil and water levels.

Bodywork in great condition, no scratches or dings. All four alloys also in exceptional condition for age with very minimal kerbing - you really have to be looking for it.

Hood and seals are in very good condition - have recently had people ask on two separate occasions whether it was new.

Interior is in good condition - seats and carpets in great shape, although as per all other Chimaeras of this age the veneer on the dash has a few cracks in it. Pioneer stereo and 6 CD changer in boot. Chrome Chimaera kick plates.
